Hi, Dr. Jaclyn Jabito here with Let’s Move Physical Therapy here to take you on a tour of the rest of the backyard as they get a lot of questions of “what’s going on back here?” So let’s go on a tour and I’ll show you.
Also, this is the way that you’ll come in for sessions that have people physical therapy in it.
So you come through the gate, you’re going to have a lot of the hay that you don’t see right away. You got one horse over here, Mr. Merlot, hanging out on this beautiful November day, which is quite a warm one too.
Here is one of the barrels that we’ll be using for physical therapy in practice, you can get on from either side. There are different positions. These are used for stretching your abductors here, just before we get on.
I can go into the tall mule position, which we practice in the physical therapy clinic a lot can go into the half kneel position which we practice in the physical therapy clinic. Switching, hands, and knees here, here, arm up. arm up. Superman, all stuff that you’re going to do while you’re on the horse also and we also do in the clinic. Remember, this is really unsteady, so it makes it a lot harder, but not quite as hard as doing it on the horse.
Let’s go see the arenas we’ll be using. We have this big one here. And this is the arena we will be doing most of her work in this Ms. Truly Rae is down there at the end. I’m not sure she’ll come and say hi to us as those parking cones down there are pretty exciting stuff.
Let’s walk down there to show you guys the masses, right? We also have these four obstacles will be using.
Here’s our ramp to get on and off. So you’re probably you’ll be right here. I’m going to get on from here. So just another level to get on. If you have a wheelchair or if it’s just too difficult to get on from the walk, you’ve got really everything for you.
Meet our horses that you can work with and read their biography!
